Dr. Stavros Sofos
Drs. Bruce Barr, Kenneth Marinak, and Staff are delighted to announce the association of Dr. Stavros Sofos to our practice. Dr. Sofos is a board certified periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Sofos graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2020. Prior to earning his postgraduate degree in periodontics, he also completed a three-year masters degree in oral surgery from the University of Barcelona. He was appointed as Assistant Professor in Periodontology at Nova Southeastern University where he taught predoctoral and postgraduate programs and worked in the Faculty Practice Clinic. Dr. Sofos will be a welcomed addition to our practice and the entire dental community.
Dr. Luanna Zambrana
Drs. Bruce Barr, Kenneth Marinak, and Staff are pleased to welcome Dr. Luanna Zambrana to our practice. Dr. Zambrana is a board-certified periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She is an honor graduate from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus and completed a general practice residency at Montefiore Hospital in New York with a focus on complex comprehensive care. Her Periodontal Residency was at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Zambrana worked as a periodontist in Florida before deciding to relocate to Virginia. She is a member of the ADA and the International Team for Implantology. Dr. Zambrana will be a welcomed addition to our practice and the entire dental community.
